Why we make this documentary
A couple of years ago Denijs was fighting for his life after a series of medical complications. Our time stood still during that period. We realised we didn’t profoundly knew him well. In our memories he was working nearly every day of our life and by nature he is not very talkative. Luckily he came through.
So, who is our father really? We feel it is time to strengthen our bond with him and shine a light on why he lived his life dedicated to his work. Our aim is to understand his passion and to look inside the universe of pianos, pianists and music.
We are happy to take you on this trip.
